Solutions Updates 

Solutions version 5.0.178.3 is currently at all stores (except Claymont – Claymont has version 5.0.179.3). We’ve noted every issue reported to the Help Desk to Solutions. Notes on the upcoming version 5.0.179.3 are below:

Software/Hardware Issues 

 

Robin Veller:

  • Concord did a return, which was put back onto the customer’s credit card. Later that night, it showed there was a cash shortage even though there was none.
    • In this case, you can add a comment on EOD in the GDEL app describing this (article). It should sync by the next day.
  • Have they come up with when we print the nightly business report to put time and date on the report?
    • Greg: no not yet. We are trying to get Solutions to do this. It is on our list. It may be a printer option that we can put on in the settings.

Lymaine Saunders:

  • Solutions passwords – while covering another store, I noticed my password is different at one store than at another.
    • This is something in Solutions that IT has experienced as well. Unfortunately, there is not a workaround for this.
  • Is there any report we can use to look up singular transactions?

Lawren Beggs:

  • Production machines are lagging like crazy. Blacks out and logs off.
    • If possible, make sure to take pictures and submit tickets with us. If we report this to Solutions we need to submit a picture as well.
