Tech Demonstration
- We went over the newest Solutions Launcher (1.2.0.56) and how that will work at each store. Each store will now automatically update to the newest version of Solutions when needed. We also demonstrated the new Barcode Lookup feature in version 5.0.179.3. This allows you to scan an item and get information including when it was produced, who produced it, and the category that it is in. This version of Solutions is currently only at Claymont, but will be pushed out to all stores in the coming weeks.
Solutions Updates
Solutions version 5.0.178.2 is currently at all stores (except Claymont – Claymont has version 5.0.179.3). We’ve noted every issue reported to the Help Desk to Solutions. We know that the cash drop issue is still happening at some stores and that there have been some issues with the EOD syncing from GDEL to Power BI. We have noted these issues and will update you all when Solutions fixes the issue.

- When we redeem a gift card or store credit it does not give the updated balance to the customer. What they see is not what we see on the screen. We feel like this happened around the change of the new version of solutions.
- Make sure to take a picture of this happening so we can present this to Solutions

- We requested with Solutions that the Check field be taken out when asked to do a cash drop.

- Gift card scenario (redeeming). Someone came in with two gift cards: one was from another goodwill and had 50 dollars, but it showed there was nothing on it, and the other gift card is from the church that are having this issue.
- Greg: take a copy or picture of the card and send to Help Desk – as long as the gift card number is present. If any of them have bad numbers, it means they were incorrectly put into counterpoint. Everything should have transferred if put in correctly (including store credits).

- Scenario: We do a cash drop on at a register, and the cashier does not do a transaction for the rest of the day. When we go to count cashier out that till is not returned or accounted for. How do we account for this if there is a discrepancy?

- Lindsay: Put all funds in exactly as you have them on your daily recon listed. It will all equal out in the system. You can also put comments in EOD if there is a discrepancy.
