How to Take a Screenshot

This article will detail how to take a screenshot on your computer, register, or production machine.


 

Method 1: Windows Logo Key  + PrtScn

If you press the Windows Logo Key  and the Print Screen button at the same time, the computer will take an immediate screenshot of your screen.

 

The image is saved in the pictures folder under Screenshots (shown below)

 

 

Method 2: Using Snip & Sketch

Snip and sketch allows you to be more precise in the picture you'd like to take

 

Press the Windows Logo Key  + Shift + S keys at the same time.

 

 

The screen will turn dim. Left-click and hold your mouse from the top left of where you'd like to take your picture, and drag it towards the bottom right of your picture to create a box.

 

Let go once you're finished and it will save the picture on your clipboard. Press on the notification that pops up.

 

From there, you can save and name the picture
