How to Reset Paging System

In order to page in the stores, all locations have a Cisco ATA which allows you to connect an analog device, such as an analog phone or fax machine, to our network. Sometimes, you may hear the phone say 'Goodbye' when you try to page - this is when you have to restart the ATA.

Front Side: 

 

NOTE: All lights on the front side must be on for it to work.

Back side: 

 

How to Restart ATA:

1. Locate the ATA box

2. on the backside of the ATA, unplug the power cable.

3. Wait 15 seconds. Once 15 seconds have passed, plug it back in.

4. Wait for all lights to turn back on from the front of the ATA.

5. If all the lights have not turned on, unplug any of the RJ11 cables from either phone port, wait 15 seconds, then plug back in.

6. Do a test page from any phone
