The Neat Pad and Neat Bar devices allow you to schedule meetings in Microsoft Teams Rooms. Follow the instructions below to schedule a meeting in one of these rooms.
1) Navigate to your Microsoft Outlook calendar
2) Click on a day you would like to schedule the meeting to open the New Event window
3) Add a title to the meeting, and add attendees you would like to invite.
4) Click on the Search for a room or location field. A suggested location may appear in a pop-up. Click the Browse with Room Finder button to access the room finder
5) The Room Finder tool will appear to the right of your meeting items fields. Under the Building section, click the dropdown. Then, under the All Cities section, click the city where your meeting will be located. In this case, I will click on the TGC icon under Wilmington (NOTE: there needs to be a Neat device in this location for you to be able to do this).
6) Select the room you would like to schedule your meeting. It will inform you under the name of the room if the room is available during the date and time you are attempting to schedule this meeting:
Once you select the room, it will appear in the location section of the meeting invite. Be sure to include yourself and other attendees in the Required Attendees section. Once you're finished, press Send:
If this is done correctly and the meeting has been accepted, you will receive an email indicating that the meeting has been accepted, which will be displayed on the Neat Pad. Once the scheduled meeting time has begun, you can start the meeting by pressing the Join button.
