Installing Optional Updates on Computer

Installing optional updates may help fix issues relating to your PC/Laptop. If you are having an issue with your computer, please make sure to update any drivers on your computer while troubleshooting.

 

1) On your keyboard, press Windows + I (capital I) to open your settings. Then, click on Update & Security:

 

2) Using the search bar on the left, search for optional updates. Click on View Optional Updates:

 

3) The Optional updates window should show on your screen. Click the dropdown arrow for Driver Updates and Windows Updates. Click each checkbox next to each item. Afterwards, scroll to the bottom and click Download and Install.
