Starting October 10th, 2022, some Outlook users will notice that they cannot log into their accounts through the desktop application. This is due to a fairly recent modern authentification update through Microsoft that unfortunately requires users with older versions of Outlook to modify their registry. Luckily, this is an easy fix. We will outline below how to fix this issue.

1. Log out of all of your Microsoft Products before starting

2. Go to your file explorer. Double-click the address bar to delete any text you see, and replace it with \\GWDE12FS03\Team. This will bring you to our shared network drive. Double-click on StagingPC

3. Double-click on 'outlook fix'. Press 'Yes' when prompted.

4. Press 'OK'. Now, try to use your Outlook desktop application. You should be prompted to enter your password, and it should accept it this time.

If this does not work, please submit a help desk ticket.
